ABOUT

Started in 2004 by Cheryl Marksford for her performance, directorial, scriptwriting, workshops and creative projects, she has since worked both in theatre and television with a variety of people including James Fleet, Amanda Redman, Bonnie Langford, Christopher Biggins and both the late Mike Reid and Howard Keel.

Graduating with a 4 Year Degree in Drama and Theatre Arts specialising in Devised Theatre the company has grown from strength to strength allowing the creation of 5 original pieces of theatre and the staging of the first “Stories From The Belly Of The Whale” Festival.

Gingercow Theatrical Productions main aims are to advance the public education by cultivating the dramatic and musical arts and to stimulate the public taste in those arts, to promote the production of dramatic and musical works that have an educative value in and around Kent.

G.T.P believes the arts play an essential role in our everyday lives, our cultural identity and our economy. Performance art inspires, challenges and educates us.  G.T.P works to promote the wider positive impact art has on society and support more organisations to benefit individuals and communities through their work.

G.T.P also promotes the philosophy that the fine arts provide non-academic benefits such as promoting self-esteem, motivation, aesthetic awareness, cultural exposure, creativity, improved emotional expression, as well as social harmony and appreciation of diversity.

As well as entertaining audiences with our musicals and dramas, we also provide a range of entertainment for private and corporate events under our COW4HIRE banner. Contact us for more details.
